OLD HONGKONG x BRAND HANDBAGS
This is a personal project that unexpectedly became very popular on my social media. There was a designer handbag being circulated on social media with negative comments. The designer applied some chinese characters on a Louis Vuitton handbag as a “redesign” and sell it in the luxury retail at an extremely high price. I personally also found that the handbag design ... can be improved. Thus I "redesigned" this bag with the calligraphy graffiti of a famous local calligrapher Tsang Tsou Choi. He was a poor old man painted graffiti on the street and passed away the age of 85.
I was doing it for fun, and use other different local Hongkong elements to create more 'new designs', surprisingly it got very popular on social media, therefore I am sharing it here.
